Butter and Egg Adventures, Troy

I took my two sons and a friend (ages 9 and 7) to zip line! We had a blast! Max and Eric were the best guides! Everyone was so nice and the property was beautiful! It was definitely a fun and exciting adventure! We will be back!

We recently brought a group of 2nd-6th grade kids from church for an overnight retreat. Ron and Natalie were great to work with in booking and answering all our questions. There were plenty of activity options to choose from and would be great for all ages. The area is nice and spread out but not too much for walking. Nice shaded spots to escape the South Alabama sun. When a summer thunderstorm popped up and interrupted our lakefront time, the staff was helpful in offering to adjust schedules to ensure we got more lakefront time. The food was better than expected, lodge was supplied with updated technology for us to use! Bunk houses were clean and had WiFi! Beds weren’t the most comfortable but were on par with expectations for a camp bunk house. Adventure Guides Ashley and Delaney were fantastic to work with! They engaged with our kids; even learning their names and racing them on the climbing wall. Highly recommend booking Butter & Egg Adventures for your group!

Great family atmosphere. Staff is amazingly nice and energetic, they even joined in our groups laser tag battle! Safety measures were top notch, never had to worry about our daughter’s safety, young staff was always alert and paying attention. 5 ⭐️s is not enough!

This is our second time at Butter and Egg Adventures. We have the best time and there was not a dull moment. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. It’s a lot of walking and hot so bring good shoes. I would recommend 10/10.

We had a blast! Did axe throwing, zip lines and treetop courses. All of the guides were patient and helpful, especially with those younger ones in the group. They have a lot more stuff to do than we had time for today so we will be back. Thanks everyone!

Butter and Egg Adventures was the perfect facility for our church’s Kids Camp! The activities are so fun for the kids and the staff did an AMAZING job interacting with the kids and leading the team competition’s. And last thing, the food was the best camp food I have ever had! It’s a perfect place for a camp or team building retreat.

We had a super fun weekend here with our church! The food was phenomenal and the staff were friendly, accommodating, and very organized. I will be back for more fun adventures!

This place is amazing! There is so much to do! We were pleasantly surprised to discover that what we saw online was only a fraction of the adventures available. We were able to get in zip lines, adventure courses, and the rock climbing wall. The zip line tour we did was incorporated into various tree obstacles/challenges and was a lot of fun. The adults and kids equally enjoyed all the activities! One member of our small group is usually quite fearful of heights and generally not what I would describe as a thrill seeker but she had a blast and completed all the elements and left with a feeling of accomplishment and perhaps some more courage to do similar activities in the future. The staff was amazing- very safety conscious, friendly, interactive, and provided j the perfect amount of encouragement when needed. The site and equipment was very well maintained and the surroundings were peaceful and exciting at the same time; Pricing was very affordable as well. We will definitely return and partake in some of the other activities they have to offer. This is a great place for families, friends, teams, anyone! I highly recommend checking it out!

I need more stars, 5 aren't enough! Ashley and Natalie were great! Very friendly, focused and patient. Facilities looked well maintained. Focused on safety (we practiced on the ground after going through a short training.) And we had a blast! Definitely going back!

Butter and egg was a blessing for our ministry this summer. Everything was smooth and ready for us as we arrived. The food and is incredible Mrs. Susan is a wonderful cook! Natalie has been a great help before we arrived at camp and also a great help as we got here and started activities, Natalie absolutely was a major contributor to our students and adults having a welcome and fun and overall awesome stay at butter and egg! Ron Susan and Natalie and all the staff we have encountered have been amazing! I know not everyone experiences are the same but if you have the same hardworking, kid loving, fun having staff you will be leaving the same review as me!

I always have an amazing time with my kids here! The staff is always so friendly and energetic and helpful! I recommend this place to anyone looking for an adventurous day or a great time out with the kids!

AWESOME!!!!!! Great place to zip line. Staff was AMAZING! They were knowledgeable every step of the way. This was my son and I first visit and first time zip lining. I was nervous but the staff was able calm my nerves. They made sure that we were safe every hook and climb up. At the end we were also greeted by the ower. What a great, friendly environment to take a family, to meet others, and to have an adventure! 5 stars, A plus, 💯!!!.

I attended with my family visiting from Essex, England, and we all agreed this was the highlight of our holiday. The pricing is very fair for everything you get, and the entire experience felt like great value. We’re already talking about coming back again. Butter & Egg zip line course is a thrilling adventure! Our group ranged from 9 to 40s, and we all had the best time climbing, zipping, and racing! Zack and Payton were fantastic guides and so patient with our group. 100/10 recommend Butter & Egg for your next outdoor family time!
